The newly elected Chairman of the Ghana National Association of Private Schools (GNAPS) La Zone 3, Mr. Harold Thompson Richyes, in a special interview with The Cocktail, expressed great optimism that God is about to use him and the newly elected executive body to transform the association of private basic schools in the zone.

“I believe God called me to this office at such a time as this to lead a great transformation in this zone and I am confident he is about to use me and my team to do something big in this zone” he said. 

He outlined several initiatives scheduled to take off in 2019 within the zone and was confident that the zone will see a lot of progress in the coming year. Mr.Harold Thompson Richyes, who was elected as the Chairman of the zone in a special election held on the Friday, 7th December, 2018, is a director of Flourish International School (formerly called Legend Sight & Sound Academy), located in the premises of former Martin Luther School, near Latenu Radio.

Mr. Thompson Richyes appealed to all stakeholders to come on board to support the projects ahead. He appealed for support to set up a secretariat for GNAPS La Zone 3 to facilitate the administrative work of the association

Before his election, he was the Sports Coordinator for the zone.

A special business interactive meeting of past and newly elected is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, the 18th December, 2018 at the Osagyefo Leadership School for fraternal discussions to advance the association. Past and newly elected executives expected at this meeting comprise Mr Addo, Dr.Rev Samuel Gogoe,Mad.Emelia Anang, Maa Tina,Mr Korgah, Mr Tetteh, Mr Okoe,Mad. Juliana ANUM-Okang,Mr Eugene Lartey, Mr Boahene, Mr Shadrack Osabutey

Mr. Harold Thompson Richyes takes over from Rev. Samuel Gogoe, who resigned to focus on his ministry.
