THE BRAIN BEHIND AGUDIE
Nana Gyamfua Acheampong is the CEO/Creative Director of Agudie (by Nana). She is a young lady of 21 years and currently a level 300 student of KNUST pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy program. Nana believes in the beauty and authencity of handmade products.  She has a strong passion for vocations and the acquisition of additional skills as a person, even apart from academic pursuits.  It is this passion that has led to the creation of Agudie and somewhere in the future, she seeks to aid many young women like her, to acquire some vocational skills.  To her, versatility is key and this is evident in her pieces.

WHEN AGUDIE STARTED

AGUDIE officially started in November, 2017.Prior to this, the young entrepreneur has been selling her works directly to family, neighbours and friends who knew about her bead making. She acquired this skill by training whiles waiting for her results after completing senior high school in 2015. It started off first as a hobby but some point the encouragement she got moved her to desire to reach a larger audience with her works.

In her own words “ I had pictures of my works and I knew I was talented but was quiet scared to enter the world of business”.  So in November, 2017 she registered her presence on the global scene through the creation of social media platforms that were used to display her works to a greater audience.

FUTURE OF AGUDIE

She plans to add to the African print and beaded accessories, a variety of unique handmade pieces of all types from dresses to shoes and many more, with the aim of depicting the unique Ghanaian culture with a modern twist.
