By popular request, the Grande Finale of the Saved With Amazing Grace inter Catholic Church Sunday Schools Talent Championship dubbed SWAG, has been rescheduled to December 2018 to enable enough time for participating churches to prepare adequately for the mega showdown in Accra.

The change in date came in response to multiple calls from several Sunday Schools / children ministries across the various parishes, rectorates and outstations of the Catholic Church nationwide, requesting an extension of time. The new date is therefore hoped to afford all participating churches enough time to prepare their children for the competition.

Church Sunday Schools / Children Services who are yet to submit their details in fulfillment of the first registration step can still do so by submitting their teams details on facebook via fb.me/swagaffairs. Registration therefore is still ongoing and will end on the 18th of August, 2018.

Hence with the new timelines, SWAG 2018 will be officially launched on Sunday 19th August, 2018 at the St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Accra, where all registered churches will be outdoored. A countdown will then begin from that date to the Grande Finale in December, 2018. The exact date in December will be communicated at the official launch.

Tickets to watch the Grande Finale as part of the live audience in Accra in December will be available at GHc10 at the official launch and can also be purchased online on https://www.eticketbase.com. Tickets will also be available at all major shopping malls.

SWAG 2018 is national talents competition that will bring together the various Sunday schools/children ministries of the Catholic Church to minister through healthy and exciting competitions in drama, choreography, song ministrations and poetry, on the annunciation theme “HAIL MARY, FULL OF GRACE”(Luke 1:28). The SWAG championship adopts the 2018 World Youth Day theme for the Catholic Church which was published by Pope Francis in his 2018 World Youth Day message to the youth across the world.
